With more than 15 years experience in the movement sector, I have trained professional athletes and helped them improve their performance through the GYROTONIC® method.

THE PRACTICE OF GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS®
This method teaches the body how to breathe itself. It creates space in our physical and mental bodies to breathe and be.
Through the method, we create spaciousness in our physical instruments — spine lengthening, lungs expanding, fascia stretching. We increase our sensitivity and sharpen our awareness — recognizing muscles, elements, and connections within ourselves we never knew existed.
Through sessions and experience, we enhance our inner-listening ability — hearing clearly how our body works and what it wants to communicate to us. With practice, the soul within our physical vessel has the opportunity to sing and express itself.
CLIENT ENVIRONMENT
In sessions, clients feel heard, supported and challenged. The practice environment requires the client to be free of distraction, and to be fully present with their body and mind. GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® are modalities that connect our movement routines with our breath in a fluent and continuous progression. This way of working utilizes repetition to unglue tissues, release tension and build strength to balance and lubricate stiff joints and keeps them “available.”
I use the practice to bring the client back to oneself. It’s an opportunity within the day to reconnect deeply with the body. Because of the high concentration and presence it requires, it is like a moving meditation.
Post-session, clients leave feeling decompressed and rejuvenated. They’ve brought their bodies back to life through intense concentration, breath, and highly coordinated movement. They experience the bliss of a massage and the satisfaction of a workout.
