Alessandra is a movement specialist and massage therapist based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, with roots in Milano, Italy and New York City.

Born and raised in Italy, Alessandra studied classical ballet, contemporary and modern dance at Il Teatro Carcano and at M.A.S. in Milano. At the age of 19, she moved to The United States to enrich her studies at The Ailey School in New York City, and later on studied at the Alonzo King Lines Ballet School in San Francisco. She spent the next years working as a contemporary freelance dancer and presenting her own works in various venues in Manhattan.

 
 

While managing the chaotic and stressful lifestyle of a New York City freelance performer, Alessandra sought out healing methods that would help her sustain the demands of NYC living.

 

After trying many different cross-training methods, GYROTONIC® stood out as the movement method that best served her body, performance and health. The method left her feeling centered, connected and strong. Using the breath and the body simoultaneously gave her the calm and focus she needed to keep up with her fast-paced life. GYROTONIC® opened her doors to alignment, self discovery and spirituality.

In 2014, Alessandra became a GYROTONIC® certified trainer and in 2016 a GYROKINESIS® certified trainer. Alessandra has been studying this method since then, learning from different Master Trainers, even directly from the founder and creator of THE GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® Juliu Horvath in Münstertal, Germany.  Alessandra trained a variety of clients at Body Evolutions and Kinespirit studio in Manhattan as well at Gyrotonic Frankfurt Center in Frankfurt.
